नंदीग्राम के जेल में बंद उम्मीदवार मिलन प्रधान की बेटी अरुण‍िमा प्रधान ने वोटरों से समर्थन मांगा है। उन्होंने अपने पिता के नंदीग्राम आंदोलन में योगदान को याद दिलाया और न्याय के दोहरे मापदंड पर सवाल उठाए। अरुण‍िमा ने बेरोजगारी और फेरीवालों की आजीविका जैसे मुद्दों को लेकर मौजूदा युवा आंदोलनों से भी तुलना की। उनका अभियान पिता की जेल में रहते हुए जनसमर्थन जुटाने का प्रयास है।
