More than 100 foreign trekkers are stranded in Nepal's Gorkha district following flash floods caused by a dry landslide. The floods, which occurred on Sunday, washed away bridges, hiking trails, and hundreds of homes, disrupting travel for tourists on the popular Manaslu trekking trail. Authorities have initiated rescue operations, with 321 people, including 12 foreigners, rescued on Monday. While no deaths have been reported from the trekker incident, five villagers are missing, and over 200 homes were destroyed. The situation highlights the vulnerability of trekking routes to natural disasters.
