Tamil Nadu Top Cop Explains CCTV Order Violation

The Madras High Court has asked the Tamil Nadu Director General of Police to explain a potential violation of the Supreme Court's order regarding CCTV footage preservation. The DGP must submit a report detailing whether police stations across the state are adhering to the mandated 18-month storage period for CCTV recordings.

मद्रास हाई कोर्ट ने तमिलनाडु के डीजीपी से सुप्रीम कोर्ट के आदेश के उल्लंघन पर जवाब मांगा है। कोर्ट जानना चाहता है कि क्या राज्य के सभी पुलिस स्टेशन सीसीटीवी फुटेज को 18 महीने तक रखने के सुप्रीम कोर्ट के निर्देश का पालन कर रहे हैं। डीजीपी को इस बारे में एक रिपोर्ट पेश करनी होगी।
