Record US refinery output, exceeding 95% utilization for 14 weeks, is not enough to solve the global diesel supply deficit, according to an analyst report. Declining diesel exports from Russia, the US, and Saudi Arabia will widen price gaps. European refinery utilization rose to 90.4% in August, but further increases are limited. China is drawing down oil stockpiles and boosting refined product exports, but this also stimulates crude imports, depleting global inventories.
