Sugreeva Tuskers Heaviest Among Dasara Elephants

Sugreeva, a tusker from the Dubare elephant camp, has been identified as the heaviest among the 12 Dasara elephants currently stationed at the Mysuru palace, weighing an impressive 5,850 kg. This assessment is part of the Forest Department's routine health and fitness checks ahead of the grand Jamboo Savari festivities. Sugreeva's weight surpasses that of Srikanta, who previously held the title of the heaviest elephant.
