Ramayan Film To Be Available On OTT Via Pay-Per-View Model

The highly anticipated film 'Ramayan', reportedly the most expensive Indian film with a budget of ₹4000 crore, will not be available for free on OTT platforms. Following its theatrical release, the movie will be accessible on Jio Hotstar through a pay-per-view model. This means viewers will have to pay a separate fee to watch the film on demand, even if they have a regular subscription to the platform. Producer Namit Malhotra stated this approach aims to make the film accessible to a wider audience.

₹4000 करोड़ के बजट वाली, बहुप्रतीक्षित फिल्म 'रामायण' ओटीटी प्लेटफॉर्म पर मुफ्त में उपलब्ध नहीं होगी। थिएट्रिकल रिलीज के बाद, यह फिल्म जियो हॉटस्टार पर पे-पर-व्यू मॉडल के ज़रिए देखी जा सकेगी। इसका मतलब है कि दर्शकों को प्लेटफॉर्म का नियमित सब्सक्रिप्शन होने के बावजूद, फिल्म को ऑन-डिमांड देखने के लिए अलग से भुगतान करना होगा। निर्माता नामित मल्होत्रा ने कहा कि इस तरीके का मकसद फिल्म को ज़्यादा से ज़्यादा दर्शकों तक पहुंचाना है।
