Gwalior Temple Tragedy: 15 Dead, 27 Injured After Truck Mows Down Devotees

A truck accident near Sheetla Mata Temple in Gwalior claimed 15 lives and injured 27 people late Saturday night. The truck, reportedly suffering mechanical failure, lost control and ran over devotees and stalls before crashing into the temple's entrance gate. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav ordered the removal of the City Superintendent of Police and the suspension of eight other police personnel for alleged negligence. The Chief Minister also announced financial assistance for the victims and their families and promised a review of security arrangements to prevent future incidents.

शनिवार देर रात ग्वालियर के शीतला माता मंदिर के पास एक ट्रक दुर्घटना में 15 लोगों की मौत हो गई और 27 घायल हो गए। बताया जा रहा है कि ट्रक में यांत्रिक खराबी आ गई थी, जिससे वह अनियंत्रित होकर भक्तों और ठेलों को रौंदता हुआ मंदिर के मुख्य द्वार से जा टकराया। मध्य प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री मोहन यादव ने कथित लापरवाही के लिए सिटी सुपरिटेंडेंट ऑफ पुलिस को हटाने और आठ अन्य पुलिसकर्मियों को निलंबित करने का आदेश दिया। मुख्यमंत्री ने पीड़ितों और उनके परिवारों के लिए वित्तीय सहायता की भी घोषणा की और भविष्य की घटनाओं को रोकने के लिए सुरक्षा व्यवस्था की समीक्षा का वादा किया।
