Group-I Exam Irregularities Found, Not Illegality

Selected candidates for Group-I posts informed the high court that a special investigation team found irregularities in the examination and evaluation process. However, the SIT did not conclude that the process was illegal or that candidates benefited from any wrongdoing. A single judge had previously cancelled the selection process due to manual evaluation concerns. The SIT report, formed by the court itself, reportedly supports the selected candidates. The court has adjourned further arguments on the matter.

ग्रुप-I पदों के लिए चुने गए उम्मीदवारों ने हाई कोर्ट को बताया कि एक विशेष जांच दल (SIT) को परीक्षा और मूल्यांकन प्रक्रिया में गड़बड़ियां मिली हैं। हालांकि, SIT ने यह निष्कर्ष नहीं निकाला कि प्रक्रिया गैरकानूनी थी या उम्मीदवारों को किसी गलत काम से फायदा हुआ। एक जज ने पहले मैन्युअल मूल्यांकन संबंधी चिंताओं के कारण चयन प्रक्रिया रद्द कर दी थी। कोर्ट द्वारा गठित SIT की रिपोर्ट कथित तौर पर चुने गए उम्मीदवारों का समर्थन करती है। कोर्ट ने इस मामले पर आगे की दलीलों को स्थगित कर दिया है।
