Kerala requires an additional ₹26,074.17 crore in Central and State funds to complete remaining Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) rural tap water projects. The state has already invested ₹18,640.62 crore, with all works anticipated to conclude by December 2028, contingent on funding availability. Currently, Kerala lags nationally, having completed only 55.24% of JJM works.
