Delhi EV Charging: Ministry Approves 382 Sites For Infrastructure

The Ministry of Heavy Industries has approved 382 sites for electric vehicle charging infrastructure in Delhi, according to Delhi Power Minister Ashish Sood. The Delhi government's Revenue Department and DTC had initially identified 456 sites, with the approved locations now reassessed for deployment across two-wheelers, three-wheelers, and four-wheelers. This development supports upcoming mandates for 100% electric vehicle registrations. KPMG has been onboarded as the Project Management Unit, and a tender for the first tranche of sites will soon be floated.
