Bengaluru Central Prison Raided By Police Following Multiple Complaints

Bengaluru police conducted a surprise raid at the Parappana Agrahara Central Prison on Friday, following numerous complaints received last month. The operation, led by Deputy Commissioner of Police M. Narayana, involved nearly 150 personnel searching all barracks for several hours. Despite the extensive search, no contraband or electronic devices were discovered. This raid occurred after prison officials registered multiple FIRs in recent months due to the discovery of banned items within the prison premises.

पिछले महीने मिली कई शिकायतों के बाद बेंगलुरु पुलिस ने शुक्रवार को परप्पना अग्रहारा सेंट्रल जेल में एक आश्चर्यजनक छापा मारा। डिप्टी कमिश्नर ऑफ पुलिस एम. नारायण के नेतृत्व में हुए इस ऑपरेशन में लगभग 150 कर्मियों ने कई घंटों तक सभी बैरकों की तलाशी ली। व्यापक तलाशी के बावजूद, कोई भी प्रतिबंधित सामान या इलेक्ट्रॉनिक उपकरण नहीं मिला। यह छापा ऐसे समय में हुआ जब हाल के महीनों में जेल परिसर के अंदर प्रतिबंधित वस्तुओं की खोज के कारण जेल अधिकारियों ने कई FIR दर्ज की थीं।
