Ishan Kishan's return to the Indian cricket team is delayed as he has been ruled out of the third T20I against New Zealand due to a groin and muscle injury. He sustained the injury during the first T20 match, which also led to his absence from the second T20I. Jharkhand's wicketkeeper-batsman Kumar Kushagra has already been included in the squad as his replacement.
