Russia's SCO Trade Nears Full National Currency Use

Approximately 98% of Russia's trade with Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) countries, valued at over $400 billion, is now conducted in national currencies. Russian Ambassador to China Igor Morgulov announced this significant shift. This move aligns with Russia's broader strategy to reduce reliance on the US dollar in international trade. Previously, Russia had reported high percentages of national currency use in trade with CIS and EAEU member states, and China.

रूस और शंघाई सहयोग संगठन (SCO) देशों के बीच 400 अरब डॉलर से ज़्यादा का व्यापार अब राष्ट्रीय मुद्राओं में हो रहा है। यह लगभग 98% है। चीन में रूस के राजदूत इगोर मोर्गुलोव ने यह बड़ी बात बताई। यह रूस की अमेरिका के डॉलर पर निर्भरता कम करने की कोशिश का हिस्सा है। इससे पहले भी रूस ने CIS, EAEU और चीन के साथ व्यापार में राष्ट्रीय मुद्राओं के इस्तेमाल की बात कही थी।
