Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Penix Jr. had a difficult outing against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, completing only eight of 24 passes for 125 yards and throwing four interceptions. This performance contributed to the Falcons' 16-0 shutout loss, a game where the Buccaneers won without completing a single pass. Penix candidly admitted post-game that he had never thrown four interceptions in a single game before. Despite the setback, he vowed to bounce back and improve in the upcoming game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
