Noida Launches Voter Enrolment Drive After SIR Cuts Rolls

Noida's district administration is launching a fresh voter enrolment drive after the SIR removed nearly 20% of eligible voters from the rolls. The campaign aims to re-enlist young, first-time voters, women, homeless citizens, and persons with disabilities, as well as anyone whose name is missing. This initiative follows a nationwide row over SIR and questions about the Election Commission's functioning.
