Heavy Rain Alert Issued For Multiple Indian States

India Meteorological Department has issued a heavy to very heavy rainfall alert for several states, including Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Sikkim, and Uttarakhand. A depression over south Chhattisgarh and Odisha is influencing the weather patterns. In Uttarakhand, heavy rains are expected on September 26 and 27, with red alerts issued for several districts. Several districts in Uttar Pradesh have declared school closures due to the anticipated downpour. The heavy rainfall poses risks of landslides, road closures, and waterlogging.

भारत मौसम विज्ञान विभाग ने छत्तीसगढ़, मध्य प्रदेश, उत्तर प्रदेश, पश्चिम बंगाल, सिक्किम और उत्तराखंड सहित कई राज्यों के लिए भारी से बहुत भारी बारिश की चेतावनी जारी की है। दक्षिण छत्तीसगढ़ और ओडिशा पर बने डिप्रेशन का असर मौसम पर दिख रहा है। उत्तराखंड में 26 और 27 सितंबर को भारी बारिश की आशंका है, कई जिलों के लिए रेड अलर्ट जारी किया गया है। उत्तर प्रदेश के कई जिलों में भारी बारिश को देखते हुए स्कूलों को बंद करने का ऐलान किया गया है। इस भारी बारिश से भूस्खलन, सड़कें बंद होने और जलभराव का खतरा है।
