Times of India · interesting

Filmmaker Woody Allen, known for over 50 films and numerous awards, attributes success to a simple principle: "Eighty per cent of success is showing up." This means consistently doing the work, even when uninspired or unobserved, to build momentum and maintain sharpness. Allen emphasizes discipline over talent or inspiration, stating that consistent effort is key to avoiding falling behind. He advises against waiting for perfect conditions, urging people to start and keep going, as demonstrated by his prolific career averaging one film per year.
