JD(S) Protest Disrupts Bengaluru Traffic Over Alleged Sting Operations

Union minister HD Kumaraswamy led hundreds of JD(S) workers in a protest at the Karnataka state police headquarters in Bengaluru. The demonstration aimed to submit a complaint seeking legal action against those involved in alleged sting operations. Protesters partially blocked traffic on Nrupatunga Road for over an hour. Kumaraswamy had set a deadline for the arrest of the alleged sting operation's kingpin. The group attempted to enter the police chief's office but were stopped, though about 20 met with the DG&IGP to submit their complaint.

केंद्रीय मंत्री एचडी कुमारस्वामी ने सैकड़ों जेडी(एस) कार्यकर्ताओं के साथ बेंगलुरु में कर्नाटक राज्य पुलिस मुख्यालय में विरोध प्रदर्शन का नेतृत्व किया। इस प्रदर्शन का उद्देश्य कथित स्टिंग ऑपरेशन में शामिल लोगों के खिलाफ कानूनी कार्रवाई की मांग करते हुए शिकायत दर्ज कराना था। प्रदर्शनकारियों ने एक घंटे से अधिक समय तक नृपतुंगा रोड पर यातायात को आंशिक रूप से अवरुद्ध कर दिया। कुमारस्वामी ने कथित स्टिंग ऑपरेशन के सरगना की गिरफ्तारी के लिए समय सीमा तय की थी। समूह ने पुलिस प्रमुख के कार्यालय में प्रवेश करने का प्रयास किया लेकिन उन्हें रोक दिया गया, हालांकि लगभग 20 लोगों ने अपनी शिकायत दर्ज कराने के लिए डीजी और आईजीपी से मुलाकात की।
