तेलंगाना के उप मुख्यमंत्री मल्लू भट्टी विक्रमार्क ने सूखा तैयारी पर राजनीतिक सहमति का आह्वान किया है। उन्होंने कहा कि सरकार ने अल नीनो के प्रभाव पर केंद्र को एक रिपोर्ट सौंपी है। शहरी और ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में पेयजल की निर्बाध आपूर्ति के लिए आकस्मिक योजनाओं पर चर्चा करने के लिए सर्वदलीय बैठक बुलाई गई थी। सरकार मौजूदा परिस्थितियों का आकलन कर रही है और लोगों तथा पशुधन के लिए पर्याप्त पानी सुनिश्चित करने के लिए बजटीय प्रावधान तैयार कर रही है। विक्रमार्क ने राजनीतिक दलों से संभावित जल संकट और सूखे की स्थिति से निपटने में सरकार का समर्थन करने का आग्रह किया, और राजनीतिक मतभेदों पर जन कल्याण पर जोर दिया।
