Senior lawyer and Rajya Sabha MP Kapil Sibal has expressed deep disappointment with the Supreme Court's approach, stating he is tired of repeatedly approaching the court for issues concerning voter lists and returning empty-handed. He conveyed that his hopes for relief from the judiciary are now very low. In response, the Supreme Court assured Sibal that it is committed to restoring his diminishing faith in the institution. This assurance came during a special hearing addressing restrictions imposed by Delhi Police. The court acknowledged the growing questions about judicial impartiality.

वरिष्ठ वकील और राज्यसभा सांसद कपिल सिब्बल ने सुप्रीम कोर्ट के रवैये पर गहरी निराशा जताई है। उन्होंने कहा कि वोटर लिस्ट से जुड़े मामलों में बार-बार कोर्ट जाकर खाली हाथ लौटने से वह थक गए हैं। उन्होंने बताया कि न्यायपालिका से राहत की उनकी उम्मीदें अब बहुत कम रह गई हैं। इसके जवाब में, सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने सिब्बल को आश्वासन दिया कि वह संस्था में उनके घटते विश्वास को बहाल करने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है। यह आश्वासन दिल्ली पुलिस द्वारा लगाए गए प्रतिबंधों को संबोधित करने वाली एक विशेष सुनवाई के दौरान आया। अदालत ने न्यायिक निष्पक्षता के बारे में बढ़ते सवालों को स्वीकार किया।
