Hyderabad police have identified 49 foreign nationals for overstaying or violating immigration rules during a special drive. Twelve individuals have already been deported, while the remaining are held in designated centres pending removal. The operation, involving multiple police units and the FRRO, uncovered suspected criminal activities, including drug possession, counterfeit currency, and prostitution. Some individuals overstayed student visas and allegedly worked as intermediaries for hospital patients, earning commissions. Landlords and hotels are now required to verify foreign guests' documents.
