DMK president M K Stalin has fiercely criticized the TVK government, labeling it dysfunctional and accusing it of failing law and order, engaging in horse-trading, and distracting the public. Addressing a DMK event, Stalin urged voters to use the upcoming bypolls to teach the Chief Minister a lesson, citing alleged arrogance and a disregard for governance. He claimed the state has become a haven for criminals and that the government is pushing Tamil Nadu backward.

डीएमके अध्यक्ष एम के स्टालिन ने टीवीके सरकार की कड़ी आलोचना की है। उन्होंने सरकार को निकम्मा बताया और कानून-व्यवस्था बनाए रखने में नाकाम रहने, विधायकों की खरीद-फरोख्त और जनता का ध्यान भटकाने का आरोप लगाया। एक कार्यक्रम में स्टालिन ने कहा कि आने वाले उपचुनाव में जनता मुख्यमंत्री को सबक सिखाए। उन्होंने दावा किया कि राज्य अपराधियों का अड्डा बन गया है और सरकार तमिलनाडु को पीछे धकेल रही है।
