India's Naval Power Boosted With Indigenous 'Samarthak' Ship

India's naval strength is set to increase with the indigenous vessel 'Samarthak' joining the Indian Navy. Built by Larsen & Toubro under the 'Make in India' initiative, it is the first of four multi-purpose ships. 'Samarthak' will be deployed for maritime surveillance and patrolling, disaster relief, and deploying unmanned drones. Its motto, 'Vijyartham Ek Nishthata,' signifies victory as its sole objective. The ship features indigenous sensors and weapons designed for challenging sea conditions.
