Ghaziabad Administration Orders Agencies To Step Up Pollution Control Measures

Ghaziabad district administration has directed various agencies to intensify efforts to control air pollution ahead of winter. District Magistrate Ravinder Kumar Mandar held a meeting, instructing departments like the Ghaziabad Development Authority and Municipal Corporation to implement measures such as water sprinkling at construction sites and using anti-smog guns. Security personnel will receive electric heaters to prevent bonfires, and hotels must switch from coal to PNG or LPG. Action will be taken against older diesel and petrol vehicles, with nine pollution hotspots identified for targeted dust mitigation.

गाजियाबाद जिला प्रशासन ने सर्दियों से पहले वायु प्रदूषण को नियंत्रित करने के प्रयासों को तेज करने के लिए विभिन्न एजेंसियों को निर्देश दिया है। जिला मजिस्ट्रेट रविंदर कुमार मंदार ने एक बैठक की, जिसमें गाजियाबाद विकास प्राधिकरण और नगर निगम जैसे विभागों को निर्माण स्थलों पर पानी का छिड़काव करने और एंटी-स्मॉग गन का उपयोग करने जैसे उपाय लागू करने का निर्देश दिया गया। अलाव को रोकने के लिए सुरक्षा कर्मियों को इलेक्ट्रिक हीटर दिए जाएंगे, और होटलों को कोयले से PNG या LPG में बदलना होगा। पुराने डीजल और पेट्रोल वाहनों के खिलाफ कार्रवाई की जाएगी, और धूल कम करने के लिए नौ प्रदूषण हॉटस्पॉट की पहचान की गई है।
