Ukraine Pays Palantir With 'Blood' For Battlefield Intelligence
Al Jazeera · world
Ukraine is systematically collecting battlefield data, a first in modern history, to train military AI with the help of Palantir's products. This data, gathered from video and sensor feeds over four years of conflict, allows Ukraine to monitor, predict, and respond to Russian attacks. Palantir CEO Alex Karp was the first Big Tech CEO to visit Kyiv after Russia's invasion. While this partnership aids Ukraine's defense, it also raises concerns about private tech corporations gaining leverage over sovereign states and Palantir's potential involvement in human rights abuses.
