Gujarat Man Confesses to Killing Grandmother-in-Law and Two Others for Property

A man in Gujarat, who initially reported his grandmother-in-law's murder, has confessed to killing her and two other relatives in 2022. Madhavdas Sadhu falsely accused his wife and her cousin before admitting his involvement. He and his wife allegedly murdered his grandmother-in-law, Shantaben Vasava, by smothering her with a pillow and disposing of her body in cement. They also confessed to killing Madhavdas's mother, Manjulaben Sadhu, and his sister-in-law, Bharti, also by smothering them. Police believe the motive was to acquire Shantaben's property.
