Inspector Placed Under Vacancy Reserve Over Sexual Harassment Complaint

An inspector in Tuticorin district, identified as Innos Kumar, has been placed under vacancy reserve following a sexual harassment complaint. A woman working as a data entry operator at the Kulasekarapattinam police station alleged that Kumar sent her sexually inappropriate WhatsApp messages late at night. Following an inquiry and a report submitted to the superintendent of police, the DIG ordered Kumar's placement under vacancy reserve. Disciplinary proceedings are recommended against the inspector for his alleged actions.

तूतुकुड़ी जिले के एक इंस्पेक्टर, इनोश कुमार, को यौन उत्पीड़न की शिकायत के बाद वेकेंसी रिजर्व में रखा गया है। कुलशेखरपट्टिनम पुलिस स्टेशन में डेटा एंट्री ऑपरेटर के तौर पर काम करने वाली एक महिला ने आरोप लगाया है कि कुमार ने देर रात उन्हें आपत्तिजनक व्हाट्सएप संदेश भेजे थे। जांच और पुलिस अधीक्षक को रिपोर्ट सौंपे जाने के बाद, डीआईजी ने कुमार को वेकेंसी रिजर्व में रखने का आदेश दिया। इंस्पेक्टर के कथित कृत्यों के लिए उनके खिलाफ अनुशासनात्मक कार्यवाही की सिफारिश की गई है।
