Congress MP Shashi Tharoor has reviewed the spy thriller film 'Dhruva' and its sequel, 'Dhruva: The Revenge'. While praising the making and acting, Tharoor strongly criticized the film's political propaganda, excessive violence, and portrayal of India-Pakistan relations. He stated that the extreme gore and disturbing scenes were unnecessary. Tharoor also noted the film's ban in Pakistan and several Gulf countries due to its potential to create animosity. Despite these criticisms, he acknowledged the sequel as an improvement over the first part.
