Jammu & Kashmir Cabinet Expansion and Reshuffle Set for Next Week

Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah announced that his council of ministers will undergo an expansion and reshuffle in the first two to three days of the upcoming week. He has formally requested time from Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha for this administrative exercise. Abdullah also urged party colleagues and MLAs to refrain from lobbying for ministerial positions, stating that the final list of appointees has already been decided after consultations with National Conference president Farooq Abdullah.

जम्मू और कश्मीर के मुख्यमंत्री उमर अब्दुल्ला ने घोषणा की है कि उनके मंत्रिपरिषद का विस्तार और फेरबदल आगामी हफ़्ते के पहले दो से तीन दिनों में होगा। उन्होंने इस प्रशासनिक कवायद के लिए उपराज्यपाल मनोज सिन्हा से औपचारिक रूप से समय मांगा है। अब्दुल्ला ने पार्टी सहयोगियों और विधायकों से मंत्री पद के लिए लॉबिंग से बचने का भी आग्रह किया, यह कहते हुए कि नेशनल कॉन्फ्रेंस के अध्यक्ष फारूक अब्दुल्ला के साथ विचार-विमर्श के बाद नियुक्त किए जाने वालों की अंतिम सूची पहले ही तय कर ली गई है।
