Ravi Shastri Warns India Against Relying On Reputation In NZ T20Is

NDTV Sports · sports

Former India head coach Ravi Shastri has issued a stark warning to the Indian cricket team ahead of their T20 International series against New Zealand. Shastri emphasized that India's reputation alone will not be enough to secure victory on New Zealand's home ground. He urged the visiting team to embrace the pressure of the series and effectively turn it back on the hosts. The advice comes as the opening T20I is set to commence on Thursday, with the team needing to perform beyond their past glories.
