A Cisco report reveals that 96% of Indian organisations experienced significant cyber incidents in the past year, with over a third involving AI-enhanced attacks. Internal organisational friction, such as bureaucratic delays and disconnected teams, poses a greater challenge to cybersecurity than technological limitations. While India scored slightly above the global average in security, only 8% of firms achieved top-tier defence status. Communication gaps with executives and data access constraints further complicate defence efforts, despite AI offering efficiency gains.
