Ixigo Shares Surge 13% After Travel Platform Reports All-Time High Profit

Ixigo shares rallied as much as 13% to ₹163.38 on the NSE after the travel booking platform announced its highest-ever quarterly profit after tax of ₹63.42 crore for the September 30 quarter. The record profit was partly non-operational, aided by the partial sale of its stake in Freshbus. Gross transaction value rose 22% year-on-year to ₹5,304.47 crore, with hotels emerging as the fastest-growing segment. Despite this, adjusted EBITDA declined 17% year-on-year.
