Lucknow Drenched By 24-Hour Monsoon Downpour

Lucknow experienced relentless rainfall for nearly 24 hours, from Thursday evening to Friday evening, leaving large parts of the city submerged. The Lucknow airport Met station recorded 86.6mm of rainfall in just 12 hours on Friday. In response to the forecast of heavy rain and thunderstorms until September 27, the state government placed district administrations on alert. Teaching work was suspended on Saturday, September 26, for all schools and higher educational institutions in Lucknow district due to the inclement weather.

लखनऊ में 24 घंटे की मानसून की भारी बारिश

लखनऊ में गुरुवार शाम से शुक्रवार शाम तक करीब 24 घंटे लगातार बारिश हुई, जिससे शहर के कई हिस्से डूब गए। शुक्रवार को लखनऊ एयरपोर्ट के मौसम विभाग ने सिर्फ 12 घंटे में 86.6 मिमी बारिश दर्ज की। 27 सितंबर तक भारी बारिश और आंधी-तूफान के पूर्वानुमान को देखते हुए राज्य सरकार ने जिला प्रशासनों को सतर्क कर दिया है। खराब मौसम के कारण लखनऊ जिले के सभी स्कूलों और उच्च शिक्षण संस्थानों में शनिवार, 26 सितंबर को पढ़ाई बंद रखी गई।
