Asaduddin Owaisi Challenges Voter List Revision Process In Supreme Court

AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has approached the Supreme Court challenging the current methods of the SIR of voter lists. The top court has agreed to hear Owaisi's plea along with other petitions already pending on the matter. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and ten other opposition leaders have also filed petitions alleging irregularities in the SIR process. Owaisi's lawyer requested the court to list his petition with others scheduled for hearing, highlighting concerns over the implementation of the SIR procedure.

AIMIM चीफ असदुद्दीन ओवैसी ने वोटर लिस्ट के SIR की मौजूदा तरीकों को चुनौती देते हुए सुप्रीम कोर्ट का रुख किया है। सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने ओवैसी की याचिका को इस मामले में पहले से लंबित अन्य याचिकाओं के साथ सुनने पर सहमति जताई है। कांग्रेस नेता राहुल गांधी और दस अन्य विपक्षी नेताओं ने भी SIR प्रक्रिया में अनियमितताओं का आरोप लगाते हुए याचिकाएं दायर की हैं। ओवैसी के वकील ने SIR प्रक्रिया के कार्यान्वयन पर चिंता जताते हुए अदालत से उनकी याचिका को सुनवाई के लिए निर्धारित अन्य याचिकाओं के साथ सूचीबद्ध करने का अनुरोध किया है।
