Odia Community in Sydney Celebrates Culture With Phula Baula Beni 7 Event

Over 400 members of the Odia community in Sydney gathered for Phula Baula Beni 7, ORIOZ's biennial event dedicated to preserving Odia language and heritage. Launched in 2011, the celebration features music, dance, drama, and storytelling entirely in Odia, allowing younger generations to connect with their roots. The event was inaugurated by MP Julia Finn and attended by local councillors and ORIOZ president Tapas Senapati. Children as young as four performed, showcasing their engagement with Odia culture. The event highlighted the community's efforts to promote cultural identity abroad.

सिडनी में ओडिया समुदाय के 400 से अधिक सदस्य ओडिया भाषा और विरासत को संरक्षित करने के लिए समर्पित ORIOZ के द्विवार्षिक कार्यक्रम फूला बाउला बेनी 7 के लिए एकत्रित हुए। 2011 में शुरू हुए इस उत्सव में पूरी तरह से ओडिया में संगीत, नृत्य, नाटक और कहानी कहने की सुविधा है, जिससे युवा पीढ़ी को अपनी जड़ों से जुड़ने का मौका मिलता है। इस कार्यक्रम का उद्घाटन सांसद जूलिया फिन ने किया और इसमें स्थानीय पार्षद और ORIOZ के अध्यक्ष तापस सेनापति ने भाग लिया। चार साल के बच्चों ने भी ओडिया संस्कृति के साथ अपनी सहभागिता का प्रदर्शन करते हुए प्रदर्शन किया।
