Indian equity markets extended their decline for a fourth consecutive session, with the Nifty falling 2.36% to close at 22,600, influenced by foreign investor selling and rising crude oil prices. Several stocks including Infosys, Kotak Mahindra Bank, and YES Bank are in focus due to September-quarter earnings and other corporate developments. Infosys reported a 6% YoY increase in net profit to ₹7,823 crore but lowered its FY27 revenue growth guidance. Kotak Mahindra Bank saw a 29.5% YoY rise in Q2 FY27 net profit to ₹4,212 crore.
