IIT Bombay Postpones Mid-Semester Exams Post Student Suicide

Following the suicide of B.Tech student Sahil Wakode, IIT Bombay has postponed its mid-semester examinations scheduled for -27. The exams will now be held and 11. This decision aims to allow for the creation of student-friendly Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and clearer rules for academic misconduct. A 10-member committee is investigating the incident, while police are also probing the case.

बी.टेक छात्र साहिल वाकोडे की आत्महत्या के बाद, IIT बॉम्बे ने 20 से 27 फरवरी तक होने वाली अपनी मिड-सेमेस्टर परीक्षाओं को टाल दिया है। अब ये परीक्षाएं 11 मार्च से होंगी। यह फैसला छात्रों के लिए अनुकूल SOPs और अकादमिक कदाचार के लिए स्पष्ट नियम बनाने के उद्देश्य से लिया गया है। एक 10 सदस्यीय समिति घटना की जांच कर रही है, वहीं पुलिस भी मामले की पड़ताल कर रही है।
