Bommai to Seek Interim Relief For Sugarcane Farmers From Centre

BJP MP Basavaraj Bommai announced on Sunday that he will urge the Central panel on sugar prices, headed by Ramesh Chand, to provide interim relief to sugarcane farmers. He has sought an appointment with the panel in New Delhi on Thursday to submit a letter advocating for this relief. Bommai stated that this interim measure would help resolve farmers' issues and allow sugar factories to commence their crushing season. He also plans to request Union Minister Pralhad Joshi to support this formula to aid the farmers.

बीजेपी सांसद बसवराज बोम्मई ने रविवार को घोषणा की कि वे चीनी की कीमतों पर बनी केंद्रीय समिति, जिसके प्रमुख रमेश चंद हैं, से गन्ना किसानों को अंतरिम राहत देने का आग्रह करेंगे। उन्होंने इस राहत की वकालत करने वाला एक पत्र सौंपने के लिए गुरुवार को नई दिल्ली में समिति से मिलने का समय मांगा है। बोम्मई ने कहा कि यह अंतरिम उपाय किसानों की समस्याओं को हल करने में मदद करेगा और चीनी मिलों को अपना पेराई सत्र शुरू करने की अनुमति देगा। उन्होंने किसानों की मदद के लिए इस फॉर्मूले का समर्थन करने के लिए केंद्रीय मंत्री प्रह्लाद जोशी से भी अनुरोध करने की योजना बनाई है।
