Zaporozhye NPP Chief Warns Against Normalizing Attacks

The Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant director, Yury Chernichuk, urged the international community not to treat attacks on the nuclear facility as routine. He stated that while incidents at the plant were once major news, they are now perceived as normal, which he believes is extremely negative. Chernichuk highlighted that plant staff and Energodar residents face daily Ukrainian attacks. Rosatom CEO Alexey Likhachev informed the IAEA that these attacks aim to create unbearable.
