Delhi Markets Shut, 25,000 Security Personnel Deployed For CJP Protest

Delhi Police have deployed 25,000 security personnel and shut 57 metro stations, along with the Namo Bharat train, in anticipation of a protest by the CJP at Jantar Mantar. The New Delhi Traders Association has advised shops and offices in Connaught Place to close for the day. Bhagirath Palace, a major electrical market, will also remain shut following a meeting between police and traders. The CJP is demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.

दिल्ली पुलिस ने जंतर मंतर पर सीजेपी के विरोध की आशंका में 25,000 सुरक्षाकर्मियों को तैनात किया है और 57 मेट्रो स्टेशनों के साथ नमो भारत ट्रेन को बंद कर दिया है। नई दिल्ली ट्रेडर्स एसोसिएशन ने कनॉट प्लेस में दुकानों और दफ्तरों को दिन के लिए बंद रखने की सलाह दी है। पुलिस और व्यापारियों के बीच बैठक के बाद भागीरथ पैलेस, एक प्रमुख बिजली बाज़ार, भी बंद रहेगा। सीजेपी मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त ज्ञानेश कुमार के इस्तीफे की मांग कर रहा है।
