An IT professional sent an email to his employer at 7 am stating 'we are leaving this world,' which led to the discovery of him and his wife dead in their Gurgaon apartment. Police found the husband, Mohammad Aslam (30), hanging and his wife, Farhana, with an injury mark on her neck. A note saying 'We are leaving this world' and 'I love you' on her clothes were also recovered. Investigators suspect Aslam killed Farhana before dying by suicide, but the sequence of events is still being established.
