NEC Allocates Over Rs 42 Crore for Northeast Development Projects

NEC released Rs 42.63 crore in September to fund development initiatives across the Northeast region. Of this amount, Rs 35.21 crore was distributed to the states for various projects, including infrastructure, cultural activities, and livelihood enhancement. Regional institutions and agencies received Rs 7.42 crore for capacity building and technological advancements. Specific allocations were made for projects like coffee value chain development in Nagaland and auditorium construction in Mizoram, alongside initiatives in Assam, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Tripura, and Manipur.

एनईसी ने पूर्वोत्तर क्षेत्र में विकास पहलों को फंड करने के लिए सितंबर में 42.63 करोड़ रुपये जारी किए। इस राशि में से, 35.21 करोड़ रुपये राज्यों को बुनियादी ढांचे, सांस्कृतिक गतिविधियों और आजीविका संवर्धन सहित विभिन्न परियोजनाओं के लिए वितरित किए गए। क्षेत्रीय संस्थानों और एजेंसियों को क्षमता निर्माण और तकनीकी प्रगति के लिए 7.42 करोड़ रुपये मिले। नागालैंड में कॉफी मूल्य श्रृंखला विकास और मिजोरम में सभागार निर्माण जैसी परियोजनाओं के लिए विशिष्ट आवंटन किए गए थे, साथ ही असम, सिक्किम, अरुणाचल प्रदेश, त्रिपुरा और मणिपुर में भी पहल की गई थी।
