Delhi Plans 500-Metre Underpass Near Mayur Vihar

Delhi's Public Works Department is considering a 500-metre underpass near the Crown Plaza signal in Mayur Vihar Phase 1. This project aims to alleviate traffic congestion on the busy Delhi-UP Road. The proposed underpass would allow vehicles heading from the DND side towards Chilla and Trilokpuri to bypass the crowded junction. This could eliminate one traffic signal for thousands of daily commuters, significantly reducing travel delays on this key east Delhi corridor.

दिल्ली का पीडब्ल्यूडी (PWD) मयूर विहार फेज 1 में क्राउन प्लाजा सिग्नल के पास 500 मीटर लंबा अंडरपास बनाने पर विचार कर रहा है। इससे दिल्ली-यूपी रोड पर ट्रैफिक जाम से राहत मिलेगी। डीएनडी से चिल्ला और त्रिलोकपुरी जाने वाले वाहन इस भीड़भाड़ वाले चौराहे को पार कर सकेंगे। इससे रोज़ाना हज़ारों यात्रियों का एक सिग्नल बचेगा और यात्रा का समय काफी कम हो जाएगा।
