Former Indian opener Akash Chopra has stated that expecting explosive opener Abhishek Sharma to perform consistently in every match is misguided. While Sharma is known for his aggressive batting, Chopra noted that players who bat at a strike rate of 200 will inevitably have some matches where they don't score heavily. He defended Sharma's recent performance against the West Indies, acknowledging it was below his usual standard but attributing it to the nature of his attacking style.
