The Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) is planning to launch an air ambulance service on the Samruddhi Mahamarg, Mumbai-Pune expressway, and Mumbai-Goa highway by early 2027. This initiative aims to provide timely medical treatment to accident victims during the critical 'golden hour' and reduce road accident fatalities. Standard operating procedures are expected to be finalised by November 15, with clearance and tendering processes to follow.

महाराष्ट्र राज्य सड़क परिवहन निगम (MSRTC) 2027 की शुरुआत तक समृद्धि महामार्ग, मुंबई-पुणे एक्सप्रेसवे और मुंबई-गोवा हाईवे पर एयर एम्बुलेंस सेवा शुरू करने की योजना बना रहा है। इस पहल का उद्देश्य 'गोल्डन आवर' के दौरान दुर्घटना पीड़ितों को समय पर चिकित्सा उपचार प्रदान करना और सड़क दुर्घटनाओं में होने वाली मौतों को कम करना है। मानक संचालन प्रक्रियाएं 15 नवंबर तक अंतिम रूप दिए जाने की उम्मीद है, जिसके बाद मंजूरी और निविदा प्रक्रियाएं होंगी।
