Sweden Election: Centre-Left Bloc Leads, Far-Right Slips

Sweden's centre-left opposition bloc holds a narrow lead in the general election, with about 95 percent of districts counted. The far-right Sweden Democrats saw their support slip to 17.5 percent, a loss for the first time since entering parliament in 2010. The opposition parties are projected to secure 176 seats in the 349-seat parliament. Results may not be fully clear until early and overseas votes are counted.

स्वीडन के आम चुनाव में सेंटर-लेफ्ट विपक्षी गठबंधन को मामूली बढ़त मिली है। करीब 95% जिलों की गिनती हो चुकी है। वहीं, धुर-दक्षिणपंथी स्वीडन डेमोक्रेट्स का समर्थन घटकर 17.5% रह गया, जो 2010 में संसद में आने के बाद पहली बार है। विपक्षी दलों को 349 सीटों वाली संसद में 176 सीटें मिलने की उम्मीद है। शुरुआती और विदेशी वोटों की गिनती के बाद ही अंतिम नतीजे साफ हो पाएंगे।
