UP Congress Alleges Voter Deletion, Amit Shah's Visit Aimed At Regime Change

Hindustan Times · politics

Uttar Pradesh Congress president Aradhana Mishra has alleged that the deletion of voters' names from electoral rolls and Union Home Minister Amit Shah's visit to the state are part of a plan for a "regime change." She cited a discrepancy of approximately 3.31 crore votes between the chief minister's figure and the Election Commission's post-revision number. Mishra claimed that the BJP's 'Loktantra Bachao, Arajakta Hatao' yatras are anti-democratic. The Congress stated it will fight to protect democracy and prevent votes from being stolen through the Special Intensive Revision process.
