Ex-Corporator Booked For Demolishing Structure, Removing Constitution Preamble

An FIR has been filed against former corporator Santosh Kamble and two others for allegedly demolishing a structure at Constitution Chowk in Old Sangvi without civic permission. The incident involved the removal of the Constitution's Preamble before the structure was torn down, causing an estimated loss of Rs5 lakh to public property. The Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation lodged the complaint after the structure was demolished. Congress workers protested, calling the act an insult to the Constitution and demanding strict action.
