Cyclone Murasu Approaches Andhra Coast; Heavy Rain, Thunderstorms Warned Across 16 States

IMD has issued warnings for heavy rain and thunderstorms across 16 states over the next few days. Severe cyclonic storm Murasu is expected to make landfall on the south Andhra Pradesh coast early Tuesday, with winds potentially reaching 120 kmph. Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema are forecast to receive very heavy rainfall. Other states like Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Odisha, and parts of the Northeast are also anticipating scattered to heavy showers and thunderstorms. Delhi, Punjab, and Haryana are expected to remain largely dry.

IMD ने अगले कुछ दिनों में 16 राज्यों में भारी बारिश और गरज के साथ बौछारें पड़ने की चेतावनी जारी की है। गंभीर चक्रवाती तूफान मुरसु के मंगलवार तड़के दक्षिण आंध्र प्रदेश तट पर टकराने की उम्मीद है, जिसकी हवा की गति 120 किमी प्रति घंटे तक पहुंच सकती है। तटीय आंध्र प्रदेश और रायलसीमा में बहुत भारी बारिश का अनुमान है। उत्तर प्रदेश, बिहार, ओडिशा और पूर्वोत्तर के कुछ हिस्सों जैसे अन्य राज्यों में भी छिटपुट से भारी बारिश और गरज के साथ बौछारें पड़ने की आशंका है। दिल्ली, पंजाब और हरियाणा में ज्यादातर शुष्क रहने की उम्मीद है।
