Scooter Sales Surge in August, Activa Leads

The Indian scooter market experienced a significant boom in August, with top 10 models selling over 7.16 lakh units, a 19.87% increase year-on-year. Honda Activa remained the top seller with 2.55 lakh units, followed by TVS Jupiter at 1.47 lakh units. Electric scooters also saw strong demand, with Bajaj Chetak sales jumping 272.83% to 52,248 units. This surge highlights the growing preference for scooters, especially in urban areas.
